A Day of Fun and Strategy at the Kindergarten!

KP ChessConnection is excited to share the success of our recent outreach event at a local Kindergarten in Jun 2025!

In line with our non-profit mission to connect everyone through the game of chess, we organized a special day to introduce the foundational concepts of chess to some of our youngest potential players.

We provided free introductory lessons on the pieces and movements, using fun, interactive games and stories to explain the basics. The children proved to be quick and eager learners! They showed incredible focus and curiosity, demonstrating that chess can be a stimulating and enjoyable activity for all ages.

It was wonderful to spend the day with the students. Their energy and enthusiasm for learning something new were truly inspiring, and the event highlighted just how engaging and beneficial chess can be, even for preschoolers!
